The Anderson Community Group is an EJ community already overburdened with other people's pollution. Doctors have told some residents that if the polluting industry is allowed to come into their community, they will have to move OR DIE! Please help the Anderson Community Group. Thank you.

What Is Sustainable Development?

What Is Sustainable Development?

There are four dimensions to sustainable development – society, environment, culture and economy – which are intertwined, not separate. Sustainability is a paradigm for thinking about the future in which environmental, societal and economic considerations are balanced in the pursuit of an improved quality of life. For example, a prosperous society relies on a healthy environment to provide food and resources, safe drinking water and clean air for its citizens

Our History

The Anderson Community Group was founded in 2020 after the community found out, by word of mouth, about a proposed environmental injustice with proposed asphalt and cement plant . This site is proposed to be sited as close as 200 feet from some of their bedrooms. We are working towards environmental justice on a daily basis. We need your support.
